Students at Carleton University shut down Board of Governers meeting to protest Israel’s occupation of Palestine

ILPS-Canada members congratulate the students at Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada for their successful effort to shut down the scheduled Board of Governors (BoG) meeting on March 29, 2011, after the University’s leading body refused to consider a motion calling for divestment of pension stock from four companies implicated in Israel’s occupation of Palestine.
